Commercial, Industrial and Retail Leases

We are experience in providing lease advices to both Landlords and Tenants. When being instructed to draft a new lease or to provide advice on a lease, we provide comprehensive advice on terms and conditions of the Lease. We are also committed to advise Landlords and Tenants as to their rights under the relevant legislation such as the Retail Leases Act 1994 and the Conveyancing Act 1919.

Because of our experience in the leasing area, in most cases, we can suggest or draft lease terms and condition tailoring to the particular type of business the Tenant intends to run.

If you intend to rent a new shop, beside the lease, you will most likely be required to apply for new development consent. You should consider development issue when negotiating new lease with the Landlord or its agent.
